Hi Graham
I also had this problem whilst using MD2.
What you need to do is go to the pull down menu in MD at the top of the list
there is "microdot" highlight that and other menu appears, go to "mail download
manager". This will/should list all your mail on your ISP ( provided your on-line:-)
and normally it will be the one at the top of the list that is causing the log jam you
can select this and delete it you should then be able to down load the rest as usual
